Adele Knall is a multidisciplinary independent artist and multiinstrumentalist, based in Vienna and Ciudad de México.

Coming from a long history of working independently, a later on interest in traiding experiences let to studies of  Jazzmusic (Vienna), Cultural- and Social Anthropology (Vienna, Hamburg) and Fine Arts (Vienna, CDMX) as well as  passing on tools and knowledge as lecturer in the Academy of Fine Arts (Sound and Animation) and teaching workshops  on electronics, soldering and music in general with f.e. Sounds Queer?, Pink Noise and the University of Offenbach for  many years.

The works show a constant search of new ways of structures, failing and organization. Questions of power, accessibility  and diy are the primal base of every work.
May it be sound, photography, sculpture, literature, hacked virtual space or f.e. performance.

Performing in (sometimes) more or (not so often) less 10 bandprojects,
Knall is a well known part of the music scene since 2004, jumping from pop-sketches
to the vastness of free exerimental and imporivised music, noise and limits of dialectic contemporary fields.

Yet having had the honor to musically open the Biennale Pavillion for Renate Bertlmann (Venecia 2019), being invited to  the Cultural Forum of Spain in Mexico (2021), recieving the Radio Prize of Adulteducation (2017), Dr. Karl Renner Preis  (2016) and the Humanrights Prize with Train of Hope (2015), Adele Knall just yet has started.
